The 120 is a numbers desk, not a data broker. This page lays out exactly what we collect when you use the120ky.com, why, and what you can do about it. No dark patterns, no fine print games.

What we collect

When you subscribe:your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it. That's it — we don't ask for anything else.

When you visit:basic, aggregate analytics — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they're on. This comes through Google Analytics and small cookies in your browser. We don't use it to identify you personally.

How we use it

Your email is used for one thing: sending you The 120 — the Sunday Read and the occasional note about it. We use analytics to understand which numbers land and to make the desk better. We do not use your information for anything else.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your data. We use two service providers to run the site, and your data is handled under their privacy terms:

• Mailchimp (Intuit) stores our subscriber list and sends our email. See the Intuit/Mailchimp privacy statement.
• Google Analytics provides our site analytics. See Google's privacy policy.

We may disclose information if required by law, but we'll tell you if we can.

Your choices

Unsubscribe anytime.Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're out — no questions.

Delete your data. Email lisa@the120ky.comand we'll remove you and any information tied to your address.

Opt out of analytics.You can decline analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, only for analytics — to count visits and see which dispatches get read. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell cookie data.
